Ecuador Health Secrets

Here is an Ecuador health secret for the Swine Flu season.

Paths to health and wealth are connected.  See more on this at International investing clues.

Knowledge of health and longevity are both ruled by the same reality… we cannot perceive everything.   Our health is a balance from  the whole.  Yet we cannot know the whole.  We are continually bombarded by pollutants ranging from solar radiation to carbon emissions, to TV (a lot of really bad stuff), to food preservatives, to negative human emotion.   These elements are not only often beyond our control, but are also beyond our comprehension.

This is one reason why Merri and I live in the mountains… away from cities… away from traffic…away from TV.

Yet we can get health clues from how we feel and balances any imbalances with mists.

Mountain mists, we were taught by an Ecuador yatchak, are important to health.   The hydrogen ions in the mists bond with free radicals on the skin to cleanse the body from the outside in.   So we try to breath clean air, drink pure water and eat fresh food.

Yet there is more…  we just do not know what all of it is.

We do know though that mists are frequency.

If we know the frequencies of mists that help balance in the body we can use them like a tuning fork.  If the body is out of balance… misting the imbalance with a balanced frequency helps restore a healthy balance.

This is why Ecuadorian healers use misting.   They realize we cannot know everything but we can know the frequencies of some things and what they do.

Ecuadorian healers use various mists to will balance physical, mental and emotional imbalances.  One type of mist used is floral water… a blend of essential oils and sometimes alcohol.  Here is a yatchak using this type of mist.

Other times healers use herbs.

Here is the Shamana of Zuleta speaking in the market to one of our groups about herbs with Merri and Mauricio translating.

Here she uses a batch of herbs to transmit balancing frequencies.

One balancing mist used throughout the Americas is the mist of tobacco.

Other times the healers blow alcohol over fire or over herbs to attain a different type of balancing frequency.

These traditions developed in the days when there was no such thing as a mister.

Now we can use essential oils mists in a modern way.

Our friend and essential oil expert, Candace Newman, explains how to use the frequencies of oil to balance the body.

Candace writes: Pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils are the basis of “True Aromatherapy”, which is the therapeutic use of pure essential oils. Nature provides us with these precious, highly concentrated, volatile liquids in the form of extractions from parts of plants and trees.

Since the beginning of time, mankind has relied on essential oils to assist in times of transition, celebrate the joys of life, and safeguard our overall health and sense of well being. With their liquid being naturally antibacterial and antiviral, essential oils help protect our physical health and relieve pain. Their profound aromas soothe mental and emotional stress and provide comfort. Essential oils are a microcosm of holistic health.

Things to do with essential oils:

#1. Keep a bottle of pure essential oil with you (in pocket or drawer at work etc.). Use it as an inhaler, and take 5 to 7 deep breaths to clear your head and emotions. Put one drop in your palm, rub hands together, cup nose, close eyes and breathe deeply. Good to relieve fatigue, stress, and boost immune system.

#2: Use the Lavender Mist as often as you like, making large sweeping circles around your head and face as you breathe deeply. Enjoy this fresh, light lift at home, in your car, at your office and when traveling. A breath of fresh air!

#3:  Keep a cotton ball in your pocket with 2 to 3 drops of the appropriate essential oil on it. This is a mini personal diffuser and is very soothing.

These mists and essential oils may be especially helpful during the flu season.

Pure organic  essential oils can also help the immune system fight viral infections.  Essential oils are composed of high frequency molecules that raise the body’s frequency.

A Chicago Examiner Family Health article by Jasmine Jafferali entitled The swine flu: How to keep your family healthy gives three clues to beat the Swine Flu in natural ways.

Excerpts of this article (bolds are mine) say:  Consider essential oils. Tea tree oil (TTO) is a natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, and fungicide. You may be seeing its uses in shampoos, skin care products, but has many other beneficial uses. Tea tree oil is being used to help topical skin conditions including eczema, acne, staph infections such as MRSA and will help with fido’s fleas. Tea tree oil is toxic when swallowed and is only meant to be used externally. Peppermint oil is known as the “world’s oldest medicine” and is used to treat any time of stomach or digestive ailment such as IBS and stomach flu. Peppermint oil is not meant for children’s use. Before you start any natural treatments, make sure you see a qualified herbalist and talk to your pharmacists about any drug interactions.

Limit sugar intake. All the vitamins and probiotics in the world are not going to help unless you limit the sugar intake. Excess sugar depresses immunity and depletes the body of vital minerals.

Wash your hands! According to the 43rd Annual Interscience Conference of Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) show that many people still aren’t washing their hands in public places, exposing others to the risk of infection, despite recent outbreaks of infectious diseases. This survey taken in 2003, during the SARS outbreak found as many as 30% of travelers do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. One out of three Americans don’t either. That is just flat out disgusting.

This is one reason why we offer essential oils available from Candace.

Essential oil mists offer a gentle Aroma therapeutic wash that can have immediate and profound benefits, calming the mind, balancing the emotions, nurturing the skin, cleansing the body and surrounding environment.

Merri and I especially use essential oil mists when we travel or are in public places. On the plane they freshen and purify the stale airline environment. We also use them to relieve the heat of the summer.

Essential oil mists also make great stress-free gifts.
