One of Ecuador’s great features is the sweetness of the
people and our friends who take care of us at El Meson exemplify
this quality. May I introduce you to Santiago (left), Eduardo,
Rosita, Lucia (back row), Consuelo, Mauritio, Franklin and Rosita
(far right). You will never find a nicer group to look after
you and from time to time we’ll report on what they are
doing.

Steve Marchant, our man in Ecuador, See garyascott.com/catalog/ecuaservice/index2.html reported
on El Meson’s activities yesterday. “Rosita’s
birthday was Saturday. At the end of a long tiring day for the
staff we had a little get together for Rosita as she is 45 years
young. We bought her a cake, sang Happy Birthday in both languages
and presented her with a cardigan bought from Atuntaci. She was
so happy she was nearly speechless - and almost shed a tear. Bless
her. It was worth doing. She deserves it and much more. She has
4 daughters and they all loved the cardigan too.”

Here is Rosita at her birthday party.
